1-part Beefeater dry gin
3-parts Tonic Water
Step 1. Add gin, then half fill the glass with tonic. Now fill the glass with ice. Don’t be shy, the more the better.
Step 2. Take a wheel of lemon and another of orange and get it in the glass.
Step 3. Then top up with tonic and give it a stir. Don’t fuss over it, drink it.
50ml Beefeater dry gin
15ml sugar syrup
6-8 mint leaves
Step 1. Drop the gin, fresh lime juice, sugar syrup and the mint leaves into your shaker, then get your arms moving.
Step 2. Fine-strain it into a posh martini glass that’s been chilled. Hold the ice.
Step 3. Garnish with one slapped mint leaf.
100ml Beefeater dry gin
400ml apple juice
½ lemon, sliced
1 bay leaf
2 cardamom pods, lightly crushed
1 small cinnamon stick
3 juniper berries, lightly crushed
½ tsp coriander seeds
1 tsp runny honey
For the garnish:
4 bay leaves
2 lemon slices, halved
Step 1. Divide the gin between four small heatproof glasses or teacups.
Step 2. Tip the apple juice into a saucepan with the rest of the ingredients. Heat gently until simmering, then strain into a jug.
Step 3. Pour the mulled apple juice into the glasses with the gin and stir gently to combine. Garnish each glass with a bay leaf and half a lemon slice and serve warm.
