Optician India Magazine Launched the second leg of its Eye Awareness Campaign around the theme of Eyes Make the World Look Colorful while highlighting the benefits or features that the eyes provide us with. The ultimate tribute and the very least an individual can do to show gratitude is by Getting their Eyes Tested at a regular interval, preferably annually. This campaign is underway with the help of over 1300 eye care practitioners who can download and personalize the creative available at https://opticianindia.net/download

The first leg was executed under the theme Gift an Eye Test to your Valentine with the message to get the eyes tested of your loved ones. The campaign awareness was created through digital and print campaign with the help of over 1000 eye care practitioners spread across the nation and simultaneously run on all social media platforms. The first leg secured over 4 lakh views on #Instagram alone through the culmination session with eminent personalities like Dr Vikas Mahatme, Padmashree Awardee, Member of Parliament Rajya Sabha, an ophthalmologist himself, Dr Vijaya Gothwal, Head - Outcomes Research Unit, LV Prasad Eye Institute, has been listed among the 'Global Optometrist Top 200 Research Ranking' - by the internationally reputed journal - Clinical and Experimental Optometry, Mr. Vinod Daniel, who spearheads the not-for-profit India Vision Institute (IVI), which promotes excellence in vision care delivery, is also a Member, International Council of Museums (ICOM), Paris & Shri P Ramachandran ( Ram)  Eyewear Consultant , Hon Advisor India Vision Institute and Sure Trust having served in the optical industry for over three decades  last being Group COO South Asia of Essilor and prior in Tata Group . As a torch bearer and advisor he mentors various initiatives that help develop the eye care industry.

Optician India Magazine have planned to do a culmination session for the second leg of the campaign and release it on the World Optometry Day on the 23rd of March 2021. The session shall be on the topic Keeping an Eye on Low Vision and Educational & Professional Underachievement along with Professor Monica Chaudhry having a rich experience in the field of Education last being the head of Optometry Department at the Sushant University. Dr. Anitha Arvind, Consultant & Practitioner at Eye Care Centre having a demonstrated history of working in the higher education Industry. Dr. Frank Eperjesi, Co-founder of EyeTools UK, an online learning and development platform. Dr. Deepak Bagga, Consultant Optometrist, Institute for Vision Rehabilitation, LV Prasad Eye Institute.

Leading change for the better Optician India Magazine is also proud to announce the Launch of the India International Optics FAIR 2021 from 10-12 April 2021 at Expocentre, Sec 62, NOIDA (Delhi NCR) an Exhibition on Optics & Ophthalmics.
