Crowne Plaza Jaipur presents delicious Lebanon Food Experience at Socorro

Jaipur:  Crowne Plaza Jaipur presents ‘Delicious Lebanon Food Experience’ at Socorro, it’s all day dining restaurant, collaborating with Lebanese mother-son chef duo Jameela Zakey Gani and Hystam Zakey Gani.

 The 10 day food experience is from October 11th – 20th and will present a variety of vegetarian and non-vegetarian delights, desserts, live food stations and the much loved ‘ice-cream trick and treat’ experience for all Jaipurites.

The tiny country of Lebanon is bursting with the most delicious Middle Eastern flavours. Sumptuous Mezze platters, creamy Hummus, rich sweet Kunafa and more. Mother-son Chef duo Jameela Zakey Gani and Hystam Zakey Gani are all set to give Jaipurites a taste of Lebanon with their delicious buffet spread at Socorro. Says Hystam Zakey Gani “I have a legacy of over three decades of culinary expertise and I am delighted to create this authentic Lebanese dining experience for the residents of the Pink city. This rich buffet will entice the culinary patrons of the city with tantalizing aromas of Middle Eastern spices, the unique costumes, the fresh homemade taste and an ambiance that is as closest to that of a cozy Lebanese home.”

Guests are welcomed with dates and coffee and then comes a sumptuous feast. Lebanese food has plenty of fresh salads and vegetables with an abundant use of yoghurt and grains. Rice is a luxury and the cuisine enjoys an array of flatbreads to go with the grilled meats, vegetables and dips. Desserts like Baklava and Kunafaare rich and incredibly delicious and the highlight of this food festival are the live food counters and the much loved ‘trick and treat ice-cream’ that makes for a great social media moment.
