FICCI FLO, Lucknow organizes session on Holistic Healing

Lucknow:  In the quest for optimal health and wellness, more people are embracing Holistic Therapy, or alternative medicine, that works alongside conventional medicine to heal the whole person, in body, mind, spirit and emotions.  The focus of holistic healing is to encourage the person to strive for wellness with the goal being to gain proper balance in all aspects of life. This is especially relevant keeping in mind our environment which is turning potentially toxic.  FLO, Lucknow chapter had put together a panel of emminent speakers from three prominent fields of alternative holistic healing to address our concerns and to provide the audience with answers. The panel discussion was moderated by Mrs. Arushi Aggarwal and chaired by Dr. Jyotsna Mehta.

The panel included Dr. Vaneeta Sahani, an established Homeopath with over 20 years of experience, currently heading the International Institute of Homeopathy in the UAE has done great work in applying homeopathy to challenging life threatenig diseases to building immunity. The other prominent speaker at this meet was Dr. Bhupender Kaur, head of the Sujok Association in India and is professionally qualified for Sujok  acupuncture, fengshui, samwongong, smile taichi, twist therapy and smile yoga among others.

Dr. Prerna Mehta, a known nutritionist, ayurvedic doctor and yoga therapist, who has immense experience in the field of weight management and control of life style diseases and increase of natural immunity, completed the trio of experts. All three speakers reiterated that we need to make lifestyle changes to ensure that we strengthen our immunity and prompted people to opt for simple home remedies for common ailments as a recourse to popping pills. Mrs. Madhuri Halwasiya, Chapter Chair Lucknow FLO and a practioner of Sujok, said " I have personally experienced the positive transformation of patients turning towards alternative medicine and strongly advocate that young people follow tgis path towards a healtier lifestyle. We hope to organise more talks about this relevant topic to bring awareness among our members."

This meet was attended by many guests and FLO members including Swati Verma, Roma Agarwal, Arushi Tandon, Deepali Garg among others.
