Rajasthan Riders excel in National Equestrian Championship 2020-21

Jaipur: Rajasthan riders performed outstandingly in National Equestrian Championship 2020-21 (Endurance 40KM) held at Sagar Equestrian Sports Academy in Jaipur. In the category of Senior National (Individual), Gaurav Joshi from Jodhur bagged Gold and Punil Kudia Silver medal. Another rider from Jaipur, Jyoti also bagged Silver in Senior National Category. In the Team event, Rajasthan Team consisting of Gaurav Joshi, Rakesh Gwala, Naveen Punia, Jyoti and Capt. Mukesh Shaktawat, won the Gold in the tournament. For this tournament, Equestrian Federation of India appointed Mr. Ajay Nancy (Mumbai) as Grand Jury and Mr. Neeraj Patel (Ahemdabad) & Col. Charanjeet Singh (Amritsar) were appointed as other Jury members. Riders from Eight states participated in this tournament and most of the medal winners belong to Sagar Equestrian Sports Academy and have been trained hard under the guidance of Capt. Bhagirath from over last one year.
