Fortis Escorts Hospital, Jaipur launches vaccinations for 18-44 age group
Jaipur: Fortis Escorts Hospital, Jaipur announced the launch of vaccinations for the 18-44 age group under the third phase of the COVID-19 Vaccination Drive. The vaccinations drive started from today. The hospital is the first private hospital in Rajasthan to begin COVID vaccinations for the 18-44 age group. As India continues to battle the second wave of COVID, Fortis Escorts Hospital Jaipur is contributing in this initiative to ensure that as many people as possible can get vaccinated and build herd immunity. As per Government guidelines, the vaccines have been directly procured from the manufacturers.
We have vaccinated apx 5000 people till date. Youth is enthusiastic about the vaccination and more than 25000 youth have enquired about the vaccination.
The hospital will administer both Covishield and Covaxin which further will be ramping up the vaccination drive further depending on the availability of the stocks. The hospital is aiming to get more that 1000 people to get vaccinated per day. Adhering to the Government guidelines, the vaccines will be given to all eligible individuals who have registered on Arogya setu or Cowin portal and have taken an appointment for the vaccination at the hospital. Steps are also being taken by the hospital to spread the message among patients and the public on the vaccine drive.
