CG Foods India Inaugurates Center for Innovation & Research along with SuperLab at its Rajasthan facility

CG Foods India the FMCG vertical of the multinational conglomerate CG Corp Global announces setting up of a center for innovation research and super lab at its food park in Ajmer which will see young startups and incubations in the region

Jaipur: CG Foods, the FMCG vertical of the multinational conglomerate CG Corp Global, today announced the addition of new facilities at the Greentech Mega Food Park in Roopangarh, Ajmer. The latest addition of a research center in the Indian state of Rajasthan has rendered the brand to enhance the production of its existing brand Wai Wai noodles and elevate the manufacturing of agrotech related projects in India.

Envisioned to nurture young scholars to develop industry related knowledge by synergizing and leveraging strands of innovation, incubation and entrepreneurship, the addition of the Center for Innovation & Research along with SuperLab elevates CG Corp Global's manufacturing footprint in India in 2021.  Moreover, it will support the brand's focus on the South & West India markets. The Ajmer plant caters to the growing demand for WAI WAI noodles in Rajasthan, Gujarat, and Maharashtra market.

Chairman, CG Corp Global, Shri Binod Chaudhary while inaugurating the superlab at its food park stated, "Rajasthan has offered integrated farm to fork processing facilities, state-of-the-art infrastructure for us to establish an industrial environment coupled with technology, and research support for facilitating industrial interactions, accelerating creativity and commercialization of products in rural industrial sectors of agriculture."

He further added, "the Center of Innovation facility will help us achieve economies of scale in reaching out to national and international markets and position India at the growth path. "

The Mega Food Park aims to serve as a financially self-sustaining entity to foster the creation, retention, and expansion of agriculture, horticulture, post-harvesting processing, value additions, food, and biotechnology research enterprises for the benefit of both the state and local economies. It enables to attract and retain the best processing techniques including post-harvest management, cold chain infrastructure, packaging, food safety, and standards creating an enabling support infrastructure.
