'body' => '<p>Manchester United’s popular fan event, #ILOVEUNITED returns for its seventh season, and will be putting the choice of future event destinations in the hands of the fans.</p>
<p>The continuing restrictions on international travel means the latest edition of the event, dedicated to serving and celebrating the club’s passionate fanbase in India, will take the form of an interactive virtual experience.</p>
<p>And, as part of the 90-minute pre-match show ahead of the key Premier League meeting with Leeds United on Sunday 20 February, fans will be given the opportunity to vote on which city should host the event next time it is staged on the ground in India.</p>
<p>Six fans from across India will make the case for their city as representatives in the event’s first ever ‘Fan Panel’, assisted by United’s principal shirt partner TeamViewer, and the audience will be invited to vote for their favourite in the club’s official app.</p>
<p>The cities competing to host the next event are Kolkata, New Delhi, Mumbai, Hyderabad, Chennai and Bangalore.</p>
<p>Fans all over the world will be able to enjoy the show - as it will be streamed worldwide across Manchester United’s web, app and MUTV channels, Facebook and YouTube. The latest edition will include bespoke local content aimed at the club’s fans in India with exclusive behind-the-scenes access and insight into the first team – as well as special appearances from some familiar faces. The letter recognizes God’s dominion over us human beings and our world and prays that He ends the COVID-19 Pandemic. The symbolic letter is unique because it enables people of all faiths to join a universal submission to God, collectively express their faith in His compassion toward humanity, and share a hope that He will answer our prayers.</p>
<p>The letter is at https://www.change.org/DearGod-COVID19 on Change.org, the world’s largest petition platform with more than 450 million people from 196 countries. The letter is NOT a petition, but a supplication, in which signatories humbly submit to God, and pray that He ends the COVID-19 pandemic. The letter is in the six United Nations official languages (Arabic, Chinese, English, French, Spanish, and Russian), and Portuguese. People are kindly requested to sign the letter, encourage their friends to do the same, and share it with their networks.</p>

'body' => '<p>Amazon Prime Video, India’s most loved entertainment destination, is bringing a New Year treat for its viewers as the service enters the live cricket streaming play, starting 1st January 2022 with a test series between New Zealand and Bangladesh. In November 2020, Prime Video became the first streaming service in India to secure exclusive live cricket rights from a major cricketing board. As a part of the multi-year deal, international men’s and women’s cricket matches played in New Zealand – across ODI, T20 and tests – will be available exclusively on Prime Video.</p>
<p>Prime members will be able to exclusively stream the highly anticipated series between the Indian and New Zealand Women’s Cricket Teams in February 2022, as well as, the Indian and New Zealand Men’s Cricket Teams presently scheduled for November 2022. This is in addition to matches that are presently scheduled to be played between the Men’s teams as a part of Bangladesh’s tour of New Zealand in January 2022, South Africa’s tour in February 2022, Australia’s tour in March 2022 and Netherland’s tour in March/ April 2022.</p>
<p>The test series between New Zealand and Bangladesh will be the first to stream on Prime Video, with the first match scheduled to be played at Bay Oval, Mount Maunganui, Tauranga from 1-5 January, and will conclude with the second test match at Hagley Oval, Christchurch scheduled to commence on 9 January and conclude on 13 January. Prime members can tune in live at 3:30 a.m. IST for each day’s play. Cricket lovers can access a host of cricket programming and highlights, in the run-up to the matches, and can also revisit the highlights of matches on the service shortly after the match ending.</p>

'body' => '<p>The emergence of the new Omicron variant of Covid-19 is a matter of concern because there is a tendency for the virus to change its appearance and certain genetic characters. Once the appearance changes, it might get difficult to recognise. If there are only a few changes then our body's defence system recognises it but if there are major changes (according to the reports, there have been more than 30 mutations) in the structure of the virus, then it's worrisome.</p>
<p>The first case of Omicron was detected in South Africa on November 25. It was immediately informed to WHO that this may be a variant of concern since the structure of the virus has changed. Since in India, it's a relatively new entity, as we had around 23 cases of Omicron. Though the number isn't high since there has been a change in the virus' structure - your immune system has difficulty identifying it now, therefore the virus can easily infect you.</p>

Immunocompromised individuals, such as those with diabetes or any kind of chronic disease will be more vulnerable to this virus. With whatever data that we have as of now from the countries of its origin, there's nearly more than five times infectivity as compared to the Delta strain, so it's easily transmissible and if a person is exposed to this virus there are more chances of getting them infected. The research is still on, but yes, to some extent, these vaccines should be effective against Omicron.</p>

Talking about the symptoms, though it's too early to say, with whatever information we've got from S. Africa shows, we can that there's some resemblance with the Delta variant (throat pain, lethargy, fever etc.) with certain changes, and only time will tell about its severity. If the number of cases goes high, it will be a danger because healthcare facilities will suffer. After all, many resources will be utilised for that purpose. Though the reports till now suggest that it's a milder disease, you can't ascertain that it will always be the same, if there is again a mutation in the current Omicron strain, it can become severe.</p>

For the population that's still unvaccinated, the primary goal is that they get vaccinated since it takes 4-6 weeks to build immunity. Avoid social gatherings, since it's an easily transmissible virus. Mask has been a great weapon for us, we're not over with Covid yet, we need to be cautious.</p>

Children are reasonably more prone to this new variant because that's the only population left that has not received any kind of vaccine. The sooner the children get vaccinated it's better. Speaking about the situation in South Africa, it has reasonably more cases of Omicron but a lesser number of admissions in the hospitals. It's being said that this new variant has fewer or no symptoms of loss of smell and taste.</p>
